ADHD & Executive Function Support

For people experiencing ADHD or any challenges with their executive function, the processes needed to get from point A to point B in the day can seem to be out of reach. The term “brain fog” is used to describe this for a reason - the experience of these cognitive symptoms can feel like feeling your way through a fog, unable to make the connection to where you need to be. Difficulty choosing where to put your attention, focusing, engaging working memory, and planning can make the tasks of your daily living seem unmanageable. This can create a frustrating cycle, in which the challenge you are working to address is itself a barrier to addressing it. Maybe you are experiencing patterns of self-criticism as you compare what you wish you were doing with your current capacity.

For this reason, I want to take a particularly compassionate approach as we collaboratively explore what would make things more manageable for you. In the space we co-create, our goal is to clear a path to the aspects of your life that you most value.

If you are interested in working together, I encourage you to reach out and schedule a free 20 minute consultation to see whether we are a good fit for your treatment.
